natural that our students grow up in the same spirit. This is made possible both in theory and
in practice.
This year the Mission Sunday was celebrated in a grand scale on the 18th of October 2010 with
great enthusiasm and fervour.Both the staff and the students contributed generously towards
the mission.The total collection of Rs. 1,18,157.00 – (Rs. 89,162 collected through auction,
canteen and chance games etc.,and Rs. 28,995 collected from abstinence of non-vegetarian
items for one week) was sent to the Pontifical Mission Societies. It is an occasion for the
seminarians to show their love towards the missions and their appreciation towards
the generosity of so many benefactors, who contribute to their own formation through their
spiritual and material assistance.
- Socio-Pastoral Camp was organised for 2 weeks in January 2011 for the second year
theology students.This year all the twenty one Second Year Theology Brothers attended
the camp at Kumbakonam. Rev. Frs. A. Lawrence and L. David were the staff animators. - Ashram experience was organised for 10 days in January 2011 for the first year Theology
Brothers. This year they went to Vidyavanam Ashram, Bangalore for their Ashram
experience under the guidance ofRev. Fr. Francis Vineeth C.M.I., the Director of the Ashram.
